02052015 -- Sgt Swan was recognized as the Marine Security Guard of the Year for 2014 at the CMC Combined Awards Program on 29 January 2015.
In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Sgt Swan was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal by the Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Dunford.
Sgt Swan is currently the Assistant Detachment Commander at Detachment Guatemala City.
