Det Maputo, Mozambique - Vice Admiral Franken (AFRICOM
DCMO) visited Maputo.
The detachment had an opportunity to meet with Vice
Admiral Franken on 12
August. The detachment had the opportunity to take a
photo with him which is
attached. Directly after the photo, the Vice Admiral had
specifically
requested time to speak to the Marines. During the time,
he asked everyone
where they were from and answered a few questions. The
DAO office hosted the
visit. Overall the visit went well. No issues.
