19 December 2014 - Headquarters Company Marines complete the Combat Fitness Test, a part of the Marine Corps annual training program. During the test, Marines sprint 880 meters, repeatedly lift ammo cans, and run the "maneuver under fire" course. Scores from the test help determine a Marine's eligibility for promotion, which adds to the competitiveness of the event. Today's participants benefited from near-perfect 38 degree weather without snow or rain.
